After their wonderful performance of The Little Red Hen First Class tried a little baking of their own. They made a list of ingredients and wrote the method and we set to work baking a Madeira cake. They did a super job baking and were happy to taste test the cake!
First Class were learning about 2D shapes recently. They enjoyed working collaboratively to create a dinosaur made from semi-circles.
First Class drew their own pumpkins and experimented with different types of lines to decorate them.
They have learned about entry strokes, joining strokes and exit strokes and are paying attention to letter size. The children are checking their pencil grip and posture for writing. The children have written letter pairs on their whiteboards and in their workbooks. Well done First Class!
